Thor is classic!

Thor is brilliant in this...very funny character, him and Hulk make a great double act.

the scene where he opens the door drinking the beer out of the jug cracks me up.

his 'Green Troll' quips are great too...shame the tv show didnt happen.

You know one thing I think I like the most on this movie about Thor is the part when Donald Blake summons him in the apartment to talk and then Thor tells him "Do you know what it is like to live without flesh?" Then Blake gets the idea to take Thor to that bar where all those bikers are at. I can not get enough out of how many pitchers of Beer are empty on that bar that Thor has drunk and then it shows when he finishes that one the other guys put down the money for a bet if he can drink another and the bartender is just grinning when he hands Thor another pitcher of beer. Then after he dances around in the bar with the girls, Does some Arm Wrestling and knocks that one guy into the table it is so funny how after drinking all that Beer that Thor can walk out of that bar as sober as can be. I also get a laugh out of how Thor opens that six pack of beers and puts them in that jug and when McGhee comes and Thor opens the door. Then I get a laugh out of that big final battle when Thor gives the battle plan and David looks at him and says "Me and Him?" Then Thor says "Well after you have changed yourself into that Green Troll!"

I think if they made a movie based on thor alone Eric Allan Kramer is the only one who can play the part of Thor because of how good they did here. Plus it would be something to see him throw that hammer again and cause a large car to flip over like he did here with the Hulk.

What really surprised me is that Eric Allan Kramer went on to play Bear in "American Wedding" !

reply

yes, it is a brilliant role he does.

Eric Kramer was a total hoot as Thor; I too wish he had gone on to play Thor in a spin-off TV series.

I'm a totally bitchin' bio writer from Mars!

He was hilarious, utterly ignorant of modern ways. The scene where he stabs the cans of beers with a knife, not understanding the concept of the ringpull and squeezes them into a jug was priceless. Also, having no real frame of reference for scientist, refers to Banner as a warlock.

"Why do you say this to me when you know I will kill you for it?"

reply

Totally agree! He had great chemistry with Banner and Blake throughout the entire movie. The bar scene was classic!
