I'm Glad Lennon Outlived Al Capp

Not by long. Capp went out gasping for air only a year or two before Lennon, he shoulda quit smoking sooner. I guarantee there were no candle light vigels of thousands of people for Capp. Nobody is gonna remember him. Whats his claim to fame? That ghastly Lil Abner comic strip??? Other than this episode in the documentary, Ive never seen the guy. What the hell was he doing there? Was he hanging out at the hotel and decided to go upstairs and start some sh!t? I remember hearing this story that he once asked Frank Zappa if he thought he was a girl because he had long hair, and Zappa said " WELL, YOU HAVE A WOODEN LEG, SO ARE YOU A TABLE???" Yah, sixty years from now some classical music afficianado will have WORKING CLASS HERO or CRY BABY CRY playing in their head from some Matrix jack in the back of their neck, and I assure you they wont have the COMPLETE LIL ABNER COLLECTION sitting on their coffee table.
"Pffft, my suspension of disbelief has higher standards than that"

Man, what a jackass that guy was.

I was struck by after his 'chat' with Lennon, he gets up looking all smug like he had really accomplished something, and then it seemed that Timothy Leary shook his hand real big at the end like it was some really cool thing he had done???

I love the way at the end of that,John start's to sing the line from the Ballad of John and Yoko, which that Capp had been asking him about. And John end's it with: #he's going to crucify CAPP#lol.

I'm also glad Lennon outlived Al Capp as well.

It seemed Capp was going to start something no matter what John said.
