Teh movie was filmed in Rockport, Massachusetts. The great thing is Rockport looks almost the same so many years later. If youe ever get a chance to visit, you won't regret it. Christmas there is truly magical. Each light poll has a real mini Christmas tree with colored lights and there's a huge tree in the town center. there are lots of shops and restaurants.
