Trying to figure out an 80s movie about...

I'm trying to figure out an 80s movie (possibly very early 90s). I remember the main character being a promiscuous teen girl. Her friends would throw her into boys at the mall in order to meet them. I think at some point in the movie she makes up with family and paints a house.
