ITLOD 1 = Yes Madam! = Police Assassins (Michelle Yeoh & Cynthia Rothrock)
ITLOD 2 = Royal Warriors (Michelle Yeoh)
ITLOD 3 - 4 - 5 - 6 - 7 all with Cynthia Khan

In the Line of Duty - 1986 (aka Royal Warriors)
Yes Madam - 1985
In the Line of Duty III - 1988
In the Line of Duty IV - 1989
That's not a typo. The first movie in the "series" was made a year after the second movie. And the second movie is not titled "In the Line of Duty II," but that's what it is officially.
It really doesn't matter, there's nothing connecting them as sequels, they're just made by roughly the same people, and they all involve a plucky female Hong Kong cop. But she's a different character in each one.
IMO they're all pretty fun, but I prefer the first two. Yes Madam is my favorite.
