What is with the audio in this movie?

It was filmed in South Africa, some of the cast are South African actors. They were then dubbed by American actors.


You can't palm off a second-rater on me. You gotta remember I was in the pink!

I didn't even notice any dubbing in this film. My DVD for Howling III had issues with the audio, though. It sounded like the lines were almost being spoken in whispers and then a sound effect or music cue came and it was alarmingly loud. I had to have my hand on the volume button almost the entire time.
