NEIL JORDAN'S ORIGINAL VERSION

According to IMDb, Neil Jordan claims that he had no say in the final editing and that his original version is still "in the vault." I know the movie was a commerical flop--even though I loved it as a kid and must have watched it hundreds of times!--but do you think Jordan's intended version will ever be pieced back together and released?

I think it all depends on how big of a following it has. Films like Star Wars and Superman II had alternate cuts released on DVD because of the feedback from fans who wanted to see the original movies as they were intended to be.

I don't know if this movie has as big a following as those movies do, but you can try to raise awareness if you really want to see the intended version of the film.
