Enjoyed it.

It was on the horror channel last night, and I watched it. It was actually really good!

Yep. Not scary or anything, but a lot of fun once they are killed and realize what's going on.

Just watched it for the first time. Except for the orignel ending, this movie isn't all that great. I watched the unrated vhs. Why is this unrated? I've seen far worse on An R Rating. Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter for example. If you've never seen this and are curious about it, It's not worth your time. Just go watch Sleepaway Camp or some other true slasher flick like Maniac or The Prowler.

I think people should decide whether they want to watch it or not on their own. Just because you didn't like it doesn't mean everyone shares your tastes and opinions.

I don't exactly call a disappearing raw chicken a murder attempt.

I am a huge horror geek, and I love coming across a movie like this. At this point I have low expectations going into any low-budget slasher (especially one from '87), so maybe that has something to do with how much I liked it. But I would rate this pretty high on my list of favorite slasher films. It has a lot going for it.

The cast of characters is great (or at least pretty good for a film of this type) and at least of few of them I really liked. There were some entertaining dialogues and believable interactions. Also they seemed much smarter than the average slasher victims. The majority of their decisions seemed to be fairly accurate. They stick together. They fight back.

This is not a gory film. Its not even a particularly violent film. There aren't many deaths, and they aren't very graphic. But they are for the most part memorable. The film relies more on suspense and tension, which it delivers pretty well.

My biggest problem with the film was its lighting, presumably shot on location in a darkened department store, I was often struggling to make out what was happening (although my battered copy may have something to do with that). Ultimately though it wasn't enough to distract me from the story.

I fully endorse this film to any and all geeky enough to seek it out. It might not be a forgotten masterpiece, but it is an overlooked gem.

I'm thinking it's your version, I didn't have any problems seeing what was going on in the dark on mine.

I collect dead pigeons then I press them between the pages of a book.
