If the film is supposedly set in England...........

Then why is the very first character we come across (the detective) American? Also when the 2 policemen investigate the house nearly the beginning why are they both American AND dressed up in American police uniforms and also why is Kyle American? I just don't understand. Sure if there were alot of Americans working on the film then fair enough, but why not give them all English accents? I know this happened in the first film with the removal men and there was some dubbing involved, but it just seemed to much this time around.

The Gospel According to America is that we are all American, from our fast food to our TV sets.

Can't very well have British, let alone English, European, Asian, or Nordic, people dominate the movies.

They will remake this with spoiled college brats, all in their 30s, with Pinhead launching hooks out of their I-Pods.

Oh damn, I think they did that already.

Lovecraft is a Genius, by the way :)

In the original script, they were apart of the police officer exchange program.

The distributor (New World) wanted to Americanize it so that it would sell better in the US. They also did this with the first movie, where they dubbed American accents over most of the English performances.
