Helloween - a spin-off of Halloween and Hellraiser

How long ago does it feel when “Freddy vs. Jason” was released in theaters? I will no longer say, like it was yesterday. Maybe a week or two ago nowadays. FvJ did what it set out to do and was incredibly successful. It also inspired two rumors that never came true. One was “Freddy vs. Jason vs. Ash.” Ash, as in Bruce Campbell’s character from the “Evil Dead” series.

The other rumor was “Helloween.” We’ll never know how the intended “Helloween” of the early 2000’s would have turned out. But, “Helloween” does unofficially exist now. After writing three three fan-fiction sequels to the “Halloween” series from 2008 to 2009, I turned to the “Helloween” rumor and was able to make sense of the unlikely concept. It is a plausible idea. I wrote it from November 2009 to January 2010, and no longer want to sit on it anymore. It should be shared with the fans.

My “Helloween” definitely would never have been made in the early 2000’s. It follows the discarded “Halloween 6” storyline. H6 was already a radically different sequel to H1-2-4-5, and “Helloween” takes it to another level. Think “Hellbound: Hellraiser II” and “Halloween 666: The Producer’s Cut,” and that gives a good impression of my take of it. It features Kara Strode, Danny Strode, Tommy Toyle, Stephen Lloyd and the Druid cult from H6, and follows after the events of “Hellraiser III.” However, it returns to the seriousness of the first two “Hellraiser” films. If you enjoy either horror series, and are interesed in some closure to the “Halloween” series, you should find something to like. You can find it here:

I just read the Helloween story, and man kept me on the edge of my seat. Beautiful imagery, character development of Wynn. nice seeing he had a daughter, and I enjoyed the fight scene between pinhead and myers.
