DVD

This movie has Laura Dern!!! It has Eric Stoltz!!! And the rest of the cast is great too!! Since everything from "Sanford & Son" to "Barney Miller" has come out on DVD, why hasn't THIS come out? Is it even in the works? Does anyone know any scuttlebut at all?

No clue. You'd think a UK distributor would bite, but it's all about making there money back. Find out who owns it, and start a pretty-please?-petition. Torrents Of Spring and The Count Of Monte Cristo (70's) are also out on DVD.

And now it has! Go to Warner Archives and look for the MGM limited editions, and there it is at $17.95 (it's one of the many made-to-order DVD-Rs now available).
I'm curious enough to buy a copy for myself.

Thanks, Chelsea. The Warner site lists the screen ratio as 4 x 3 ,full-screen. That's too bad if it was originally shot at 2.35:1, wide-screen as I suspect. Hopefully, the hues are timed properly on this transfer. Also, this DVD's audio format is listed as mono. I think the old VHS tapes are at least transferred in stereo. I've seen some other DVD titles that are real clunkers, but this is better than nothing I suppose. Good luck.
