Michael's eyes (plot-hole???)

Near the end of Halloween II, Michael's eyes get shot out and he is blind. We're lead to believe that there is a bullet lodged in each eye.

But here, his eyes are clearly visible and he's clearly not blind. WTF.

docs that took care of him for 10 years replaced eye balls?!

Or just believe he was shot above his eyes and the blood ran down into them.

It doesn't matter anyway - I've never understood this issue. He also has a gaping stab wound in his chest, a needle puncture in his neck, and six bullet holes in his body and nobody questions that.

reply

I questioned that. He can still walk after being shot again and again, burned, stabbed. He just needs little rest and he's back again, strong and capable to run, drive cars, kill etc., expect for speaking, but that was never a feature of him.

It's rather laughable that people have an issue with his magic eyes still working after being shot but don't have a problem with Michael's magic brain taking two bullets in it and still working in order to explain the blood and his continued eye use.

Not to mention muscle and flesh that was burnt away and is unusable has been magically replaced by brand new skin, and hairy arms.

Seriously. Bringing Michael back is one thing. Almost completely ignoring the fact that he was barbecued and would at very best look like a piece of jerky walking around, that's another thing.

He's also clearly alive after being shot around fourteen times and being burnt to a crisp.

It would appear that everything, short of burned skin for some reason, heals on Michael Myers.

Michael is evil incarnate. Nothing deters him.

Terrible things Lawrence. You've done terrible things.

Except for maybe lost organs (he was never shown actually losing limbs, bowels, etc., and regenerating them. He is instead just shown losing lots of blood, getting pierced and battered a lot, and getting burned.) and decapitation (he deliberately avoided that in Resurrection, implying that it could really kill him).

He also comes out of a coma after ten years without any brain damage. Most people can't go more than a week or so in a coma without brain damage.

Twat!!!!

Yeah, since they show a close up of his face after getting shot at the end of II, you clearly see both of his eyes intact and blood running down the eye holes in the mask. I think it was more that blood was running into his eyes blinding him.

Of course, forget the bullet wounds, once his entire body is engulfed in flame at the end both of his eyes would have melted.

For that matter being in a coma for 10 years would have rendered every single muscle in his body completely atrophied. There is no way he would have been able to move at all.

Jason wasn't hospitalised and treated by folk for ten years who don't appear concerned or excited at his seemingly miraculous regenerative and survival powers though.
