Is there a color version?

Once in a while a black & white film originally may get a color version later on DVD or Bluray, as in the film was done on color stock but finalized in black & white for the theatrical release. Was this actually shot on black & white film? I think this movie would look more amazing if you could really see the Big Blue ocean throughout. Even a mediocre film like Into The Blue (2005) was a visual treat with its bright blue oceans and white sand beaches. Jessica Alba's body didnt hurt either ;)
But yeah, Im just watching this film for the first time, having seen most of Besson's other films, and I had no idea it was black & white until I started it. It was a tiny bit disappointing when I expected amazing blue ocean scenes throughout.

Sorry, I had just began the movie and watched it for about 10 minutes when I made that posting. I had just assumed the whole film was black & white like this. But then a bit later it turns to color. Indeed much better! Anyway I wont delete my original post just in case anyone else in the future will be wondering the same thing ;p

Plonker. Maybe watch the movie before making daft posts!

alaninho: agreed! Who the hell sits posting on the internet while watching a film anyway? Bloody typical of today's attention deficit generation.
