Blu-ray

Why isn't this on Blu-ray yet?

reply

It is now. I've only seen one review, where someone said it wasn't very good (edge enhancement and DNR). That may explain why it's at Walmart for $9.

It's on BD I actually just rented it from my local store. It defiantly needs to be remastered. This transfer is not very good quality. Audio is DTS 5.1 however it really sounds like stereo I haven't heard any surround effects not even with the music, it's all coming from the fronts. The video is lacking also not very bright or clean. I really hope Warner Bros will find a reason to give this a remaster or even a anniversary edition with more supplements. But it's doubtful it'll happen.

Old transfer with some sharpening and grain too coarse, but quite watchable nonetheless.
