They might be silly questions, but I always wondered:

Why didn't Dian go to the doctor when she started coughing? If she had respiratory problems, why didn't she stay OUT of the jungle for a while? Being sick and/or dead wouldn't help the gorillas.

Didn't Dian ever have to go to the dentist? Or need a gyno?
