COMET is showing it~and' Outlaw'!

COMET's programming has been teaming the two films. I'm watching "Gor" now~just because there's nothing else I find at all interesting. Up next is "Outlaw of Gor".

I was working at Waldens (book store) when these novels hit the shelves. I think I read the first one, and that was more than enough for me. At least I didn't have to pay for it, just read it then put it back on the rack. (They encouraged me to do that so that I could guide customers.)

"Gor" reminds me of another, later series, titled "Blade", which also quickly descended into the stuff that would draw some to be loyal readers. No one has ever filmed "Blade" that I know of.

I'm also reminded of Graham Masterton. His early novels were great reading, then he started to toss in increasing amounts of sex. That's too bad because I liked his style. No, he didn't do that other world/sword & sorcery/swashbuckling stuff, but he fell into the bad habit the others did.
