Where Is This Movie/The DVD Petition

What a great film to remind us how great life is? Let's get a petition together for a DVD of this film.

I am surprised myself that this was not released on DVD after My Dog Skip was released. I have often thought that My Dog Skip was sort of a prequel to this movie.

This movie was first aired exclusively on The Disney Channel in 1988. Then it aired as a two-parter on PBS' "WonderWorks" a year later. In 1994, "Good Old Boy: A Delta Boyhood", was released as "The River Pirates" on VHS. So if anyone out there is hoping it would get released on DVD, let's hope it also gets released on Blu-Ray, as well.
