Does anyone watch this during Christmas?

I live this movie and have to pop it in around Christmas time. I do it because the whole Christmas atmosphere ending is awesome. Anyone else?

I like watching certain movies during the Thanksgiving>Xmas season.
'Funny Farm' is one of them.
Thinking about it... there's at least 3 more C Chase films..
Natl L. Vaca, European Vaca & Xmas Vaca.. several others are JOhn Candy ones.
For me getting into Xmas season.. in flims means.. Family fun comedies.

I have been watching Funny Farm on Dec 22 or 23 for the past 4 years. It has a very Christmas feel to it at the end and puts me in the spirit. I remember when visiting my parents, after driving around looking at Christmas lights a few days before Christmas they were watching "Funny Farm" with some friends. When I got in I watched the middle/end of "Funny Farm" and it was a nice experience to watch with the house decorated for Christmas and with family and friends so I have been watching it every year before Christmas for the past 4 years. I love the movie, I don't know anyone who does not love "Funny Farm". I remember seeing it in the theater when I was younger and the audience was cracking up during the movie, there were several times I watched "Funny Farm" with friends when I was growing up who did not see it and they all loved it. This is one of Chevy Chase's best movies and it has a pretty good following. We always watch "Christmas Vacation" on Christmas Eve ever since 1990 and I tend to watch the original "Vacation" a week or two before Christmas.

I first watched this in the movies right after I got married in June so I always have a feeling of summer/flowers/warm when I watch it.

It's just in the last few years or so that I watch it around Christmas-time. I do love the whole Christmas feel of the end, but, it is an all-around the year movie for me, really.

I do watch this movie year round because I just love it! My wife and I really start to watch it more in the fall. I like to watch it then because it's not a straight up Christmas movie, but it has some Christmas in it. Kind of like cheating and watching a Christmas movie early. It also does have a great fall feeling to it.

I'm glad to hear that there are a lot of other people out there that love this movie. I've said on here before, it's not the funniest, it's not the greatest, but there is something about it that keeps bringing me back.

I watch it every Christmas, along with Christmas Vacation. Sometimes I pop it in the DVD player throughout the year. Definitely a classic in my book.

I love this movie! And of all the times that i have owned Funny Farm, i've never really payed much attention to watch it around the holidays, We just watched it last night and it is in our stack to watch now over the holidays :) I think this is Chevy's best movie! I think there are alot of funny scenes in it, but that's my opinion. I think it's a classic too!

Watched it again this year a few days ago this time on Blu ray(Spies Like Us combo). Enjoyed it just as much as when I first saw it, blu ray shows more vibrant colors especially with the trees but does not take away with the classic way it was shot and it now fits on the flatscreen tv properly where our DVD did not fit properly on the tv. "Funny Farm" is one of Chevy Chase's all time greats, it and "Christmas Vacation" are great movies to watch around Christmas, I even watch the original vacation a week or so before Christmas.

I have a whole series of films I watch from mid October through the holidays, and never included this though it is a fav of mine. Will put it in my collection after Grumpy Old Men.

I'm inclined to put this in my Christmas collection, although I watch the Christmas film in June/July/August too because that is when we have our winter.
