Same here. I was glad to find it on Amazon Prime today. It's highly underrated.

I actually saw it in the theater with my late father and brother (he's still alive) and we didn't care for it. We weren't laughing much and my dad was complaining, "Boy, I'm still waiting to laugh here!" It wasn't a big house, so maybe that was the problem. Anyway, watching it again on TV, I enjoyed it more. Maybe the film had to grow on me a bit and also the humor is not slapstick humor, it is humor that flows out of situations, which makes it funny. Watched it again last night and once again, enjoyed it.
