The mask with pissing pieces, the tattered clothing, the bones showing. I say yes.

Yeah, all those aspects you mention are great but Kane Hodder is just too bulky and squat to me. He's built like a wrestler! I prefer the build of Richard Brooker or Ted White from Parts 3 & 4.

Jason was still "human" in parts 3 and 4 so the look works there. I think once he becomes a zombie the bulking hulk look fits.

I thought it was the perfect look for a Jason that spent several years at the bottom of a lake after having been resurrected from the dead. It always bothered me that his clothes miraculously un-tattered by the time part 8 rolled around.

Most definitely. And the makeup work on the unmasked Jason is stellar. One of the coolest looking living corpses I’ve ever seen in a movie. This has always been my favorite Jason look by far.
