Melissa should have been the final girl.

At least she was honest about her feelings and wasn't deceitful, like Tina who hid her telekinesis and revived Jason in the lake which resulted in everyone getting killed in the first place.

Jason did not need to hurt beautiful Melissa like that so that she would undoubtedly need a closed-casket funeral instead of showcasing her elegant features. And was there really any need to toss her across the room like that? The girl was dead anyway, it was just highly disrespectful to me. Jason was wrong for this.

Even though she was a bitch, she was, IMO, the most likeable character. She at least had some personality unlike the other cookie-cutter characters whom you just want to see get killed. She did last the longest(of the victims) and had arguably the best death.

I agree. That guy, there is still plenty of time to save Melissa. Just pulled her away. She didn’t move because she was too shocking to see Jason.

reply

Melissa was a total mean and snarky bitch who got just what she deserved when Jason killed her by planting that ace in her face.

Fúcking hated her. Most likeable? Come on you got to be fúcking kidding, she was a cúnt

reply

I liked her because she wasn't one dimensional like most of the characters in this franchise either.

I liked bad girl Melissa. Thought she had s fun role. The actress who played her was really sweet IRL. Very sad she died of Cancer.

She's still alive, i believe. Someone with the same name died, causing some confusion.

LMFAO

You're also forgetting that the house gets set of fire and then explodes, so tragically they likely barely had enough remains to even ID her, let alone bury her in a casket. RIP in pieces Melissa.

She was honest about feelings indeed, but man, she was a real bitch. She used other boy and then hurt his feelings.

reply

There was no way that bitch was surviving. Never happens in (horror) movies.

reply

I was pretty happy when Jason axed her a question.

reply

She wasn't that honest. She lead that one geeky dude on just to make someone jealous, only to drop him the instant she no longer needed him. And in pretty cold hearted fashion.

reply

True, but she was brutally honest with him at that point..! I agree that Melissa would have made a better final girl. She at least had a personality unlike Tina. And why not mix up the formula a bit (after all, we're up to Part 7 at this point) and make the final girl the bitchy character?

reply

That would be fun, yes.

reply

Bc they aren't going to off the girl with physic powers.

reply

I see your point...so maybe next time they can make the bitchy character psychic, lol?
