No Tomorrow

I rented this film on VHS about ten years ago. During the end credits, the song 'No Tomorrow' was playing. This song was listed as being written by Dave Foster and Kenny Loggins with George Hawkins providing the vocals. The chorus went something like:

Don't say that love is good,
Don't say that love is true,
She holds me... And there's no tomorrow.

Anyhow, two years ago, I decided to purchased this film on DVD simply because of the musical score and that particular closing song. However, after watching the film again, I was disappointed to find that the DVD version of this film did not include that song. It was replaced with the same song used as the opening track. I had the opportunity to watch this film again on the EncoreLove network and it too was missing the song 'No Tomorrow'. Seeing as how I have seen this film quite a few times, I am almost certain that this was the only change made to the film. This leaves me wondering 'WHY?'

With that, I am hoping that someone reading this could point me in the direction of finding this song or a CD by George Hawkins. I have looked all over the internet and have search countless music download sites with no such luck. Also, why is it that film companies release a film in the theaters and then go back and revise the musical score upon its DVD release?

Thanks!

I have been looking for it for years. I have the DVD and assumed they'd keep it on there. Good thing I kept the VHS copy. I really felt the song fit the mood and emotion in the film perfectly. Sad to see it vanish.
I lived in Cinti when this film came out and knew alot of these locations and have had friends as extras in alot of the UC and KI scenes. A friend from Ky and I road tripped searching film locations out of boredom. We found lots of key ones, like the cafe, love nest ect. On the way to school, I used to pass by the house the pool scene was filmed. The stables, the opening party scene and beaking up scene house was nearby too.
Car stories: The Gold TA that McCarthy drove was a local car someone owned in the Kenwood area. The ding on the door trim gave it away. I talked to the owner and it was verified. In 93 I was driving to a friends house in Florence, KY and about a few blocks away I spotted the Stiller car parked on the street. I parked and had to check it out. Not a common car in that color combination, and shape, so I'm 100% sure it was it. Didn't see it again though so I couldn't confirm.

Hi there- This has been my struggle for many many years. I have never been able to find the song on CD and as your probably know they did not make a soundtrack for the movie. I often thought about writing to David Foster as he composed the song and alot of the intrumental music that is played throughout the movie, and ask WHY!!!! This is my all time most favorite song ever. I own three VHS, I did also get the DVD and realized they did not include the song on it. I think the only way is to transfer the VHS to DVD/CD and so on. Its nice to know that someone else out there values this great love song as much as I do, its beautiful. Good luck and please post if you have progress in your search. You can find the old VHS with the song on EBAY for cheap. I will sure update if I am successful with getting in transfered a cd- good luck my fellow song lover- it truly is a wonderful song.
By the way, the lyrics are like this, if you listen carefully..

Dont say that Im a fool
Dont say that love is cruel
She holds me and there's no tomorrow
Wont let this feeling end, I'll never love this way again
and theres no tomorrow

This happens a lot with DVD releases these days. What all comes down is, Money. License agreement, royalties, etc... A lot of my old shows were postponed due to this. 90210 for example, they replaced a ton of music and held the releases back by 3-4 years.
