The Watch Lighter

At some point, about an hour and change into the movie, when Ford and Frenchie get back to Ford's apartment with the suitcase they just picked up from the airport, the French police arrive to ask questions. Ford makes Frenchie leaves and she grabs a crossaint off the breakfast cart that just came in.

Right after that the French police detective lights a cigarette with his watch. I was wondering if anyone had any sort of information on a watch/lighter device.
