Ending was Bad

This movie was decent but the ending just feels thrown together. I know it's a comedy but the ending just got too over the top and silly for me.

Well, endings are difficult.

This movie does feel like everything was tied together a bit too neatly, even the villain doesn't die (although he absolutely should have, considering what happened to him), removing any impact (no pun intended) of the 'death scene' it could otherwise have. Michael's character lost his stutter for no reason, as the villain still lives.

The texts at the very end are also ridiculous, I didn't like them at all.. trying to tie things to a bow too neatly just dilutes the humor in my opinion. Let things end messily, let Otto die and let Cleese's character be dumped and make it funny.

The makers of this movie should've watched a few episodes of Fawlty Tower. I mean, Cleese was a big part of it, of course, but how could he have approved such a wishy-washy ending even Charlie Brown would've vomited at?

He thought he killed him, which is what matters.

Speak for yourself, I always liked the ending. An absurdly happy ending was just what this sort of comedy needed. The only thing wrong about it is that they seem to have forgotten that George existed. He should have gotten a silly text mention at the end.

I thought the ending felt right for the satirical nature of the film. Only thing that I felt was over the top was the screen text about what happened to the characters. I know that is satirical too, but there is no way Otto survives falling from a plane wing at 100mph lol, let alone recovers being run over by a steamroller in a cement patch.
