Defective DVD?

Okay, so I recently bought a DVD of this film. I was watching it last night, and about every 10 minutes, usually around the time of a chapter stop, the film would just turn itself off and go right back to the menu.

Has anybody else had this problem? Is it just the way the DVD was formatted, or is mine defective?

As great as Media-Blasters are with releasing some many long forgotten OOP movies uncut they sure do have problems.

They're tranfers are average and a lot of times their DVDs are defective. I've heard a lot of people complain about their products.

The only problem I have ever had was with Day of the Animals and Lizard in a Woman's Skin. They won't play on my DVD player. It loads, but nothing comes on the screen. Both worked on the other players in my house, which is odd, since mine is probably the better player.

I have a lot of DVDs by them. I have at least 7 of their triple features, which is 30 DVDs right there, and at least 10-15 more that I bought. And I have quite a few movies from their Toyko Shock. I only had a problem with Day of the Animals Lizard in a Woman's Skin.

Though I do own a couple of DVDs I have yet to watch, but I have seen 98% of the titles I own by them.

The phone is dead. Do you hear that, Vitus? Even the phone is dead.

My Faceless DVD has some problems. All my other Media Blasters titles play OK

sounds like these guys are making really crap DVD copies. The reason why your good dvd player won't play these shoddy copies is because the high end players usually have copy protection and won't play some or all copied DVDs. whereas the cheaper DVD players have no such copy protection against badly copied DVDs

Spencer nailed it - they've got loads of great titles, but the DVDs, unfortunately, are less than perfect. I know I've had issues before. I remember Massacre In Dinosaur Valley having some freezing issues about halfway through. I think I've had some other problems too, but I don't remember what with. I do know that I've been able to get them to work eventually.

I think I'll pick up the Eurotrash triple feature. I want this and Witchery.

Hi
You Yanks need to get d v d mp3 players
or get the d v d hacked.
There is a stopper in the players that
do not reconize the full disk.
