Interesting film providing food for thought

The interesting thing about this film is not that it shows the hidden underbelly of Australian society in the sixties and seventies. The truly interesting thing is one wonders who is manipulating whom?

Is the young man manipulating the senator and those around him, or is the wicked senator a master puppet master who manipulates everyone around him in order to get what he wants.

Mark Lee is definitely eye candy, and it's hard to believe that he was actually thirty when the film was made. He certainly doesn't look thirty, nor, for that matter, does he look like a schoolboy.

The only thing that bothered me was that I kept expecting the anti-aging treatments the young man was taking to somehow backfire on him a la Dorien Gray
