It has stiff competition -- Christmas Vacation, for one -- but Ernest Saves Christmas stands alone.

I'm afraid that Ralphie stars in the best Christmas movie ever (A Christmas Story). Then McClane stars in the second (Die Hard II). But I will give Ernest the #3 spot.

And we'll finish off the top five with Scrooged and Gremlins.

This has been one of my favorite Christmas films since I was a kid. I always loved the Ernest movies. For the longest time I had to settle for the dubbed vhs copy I owned until I found the dvd on Amazon.
