is the DVD Anamorphic ?

I just looked at my DVD. It is a matted widescreen (1.85.1) and it is not anamorphic. The only Ernest movie I can think of that is, is "Ernest Goes To Camp". I own all of them but Ernest Goes To School and Dr. Otto. I also know that "Saves Christmas" and "Goes To Camp" are the only widescreen Ernest films on DVD.

Is "Goes to School" and "Rides Again" even on DVD?? I think I read that "Rides Again" was on DVD in Canada or something but I didn't know about "Goes to School"

Yes. I own Rides Again on DVD. I bought it at a used DVD shop in South Carolina. It is a Canadian release so it's region free (will play on any dvd player). Goes to School is the only ernest film to not be released on dvd at this point.
