I've thought Thornburg totally threw himself into the lion's den when he went up to interview Holly considering he broke into her home just hours earlier and put her and her family in danger, wasn't Thornburg even aware that he put the McClane family in danger?

shareHe was a reporter and a chance to get the exclusive first interview with the McClanes as they are walking out of the building. He was so arrogant and full of himself that he probably didn't even realize the recklessness of putting the children on tv. And even if he did, he didn't care, he got the story and that's all that mattered to him.

Nah. The local stations are still runing the same. Remmeber that interview of a "cousin" of a guy shot by the cop. That cousin hasnt seen the guy for two years but the "journalist" makes it sound like he saw him half an hour before the shooting.
