Too much jokes!!!

First, I'm going to say I liked very much the movie. Very good surprise after disappointing John McTiernan movies. Brillant visuals. Interesting screenplay. Good dialogues.
In my opinion, Die Hard as one of the best action movies.

But I implore you McTierman... just stop with your non-stop jokes. Die Hard is supposed to be a drama story.
Just think. The guy is separated from his wife and kids. There's a building full of innocent civilians the bad guys are planning on murdering. Let's talk about that. Could be wipe out at any moment.
But why not joke at any moment possible?
I understand the logic of having a joke after a dramatic scene, but please not every 5 minutes!!! You can't take the movie or the characters seriously then.

"Die Hard is supposed to be a drama story."

Um, no. It's supposed to be an action thriller, which it is, with some humour added in as well.

BTW, too MANY jokes, not MUCH.

I know, I'm posting this as a parody of this (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1211837/board/thread/262651682?d=262651682#262651682) thread to prove a point.
