Comedy?

I wasn't sure if this one was supposed to to be be funny or not. I know fulci has done comedies before and sometimes mixes black humor in his movies so I wasn't sure. The scene where the two guys fall into the spike pit had me laughing really hard. I don't like luaghing at a scene if it's supposed to be serious though. I think it takes away from the movie.
