The Hippy mid-way through the film that had the zombie on a leash trying to flush out the soilders and shortly after got blown up by a grenade had a striking similarity to chop-top from TCM 2. Anybody else think so?
Well I believe in God, and the only thing that scares me is Keyser Soze.
He did remind me of Choptop--with his Sonny Bono wig! I think he also said something about having flashbacks when he heard the explosions or gunfire. I wouldn't be surprised with all the horror references in this movie.
shareOld thread but I will reply anyway. In the Anchor Bay DVD they have commentary with the director and a few actors/crew. Michael Todd, who plays the hippie character as well as Jason and a few other extra characters, states that yes Choptop was his inspiration for that hippie character. I recommend the commentary to any fan of this movie or low budget movies in general. It was fun and insightful to hear these guys relive the experience.
