Anybody know why this movie has not been released on DVD or why it has been discontinued on VHS? You would think such a widely known, memorable TV film would be available on DVD. Lesser-known TV movies are readily available and yet "David" is still a rarity?
shareI have seen the DVD for "David" on ebay. It only plays on the england brand DVD players though. Maybe someday it will be released in America.
shareI have often thought about watching this again, I read the book a long time ago, I think of David through the years wondering what he does now, and know that he is o.k. That he is thought of often, as a inspiration. A beautiful person.

I ordered it today, and hopefully I will recieve it in about 2 weeks time, i will let you all know what kinda quality it is.
sharei ordered one of the dvds...and i got, and the qaulity is very good....its hard to tell its a dvdr....it even comes in a case with a picture from the movie on the front.....I hadnt seen the movie since 1988....its a good movie, but very depressing.....
