If you were Patrice's parents....

I first saw this movie when I was 13. I just watched it again (at age 35) and suddenly I thought of Patrice's parents at the Prom. If you were her parents, wouldn't you be mortified that your daughter matched the prom decorations like that? Wouldn't you be mortified at your daughter's expectation of being voted Prom Queen? Or do you think they were too wrapped up in themselves to notice?

If I were her parents I would slap the snotty attitude out of her. She was just a stuck up ****** LOL! Ahh but she learned her lesson in the end.

I'd be mortified her dress was made from the same fabric as the prom decorations, but I'd secretly be glad she didn't win prom queen after thinking it was hers.
