MGM is supposed to be putting out both this and the first film on a single disc today. No info on this title unlike the other horror titles coming out today. I've heard that both films were shot in scope but the French DVD I have is fullscreen.

I just purchased the Region 1 MGM DVD. It's a fullscreen presentation and this pic is offered on a "flipper" double bill with "The Curse."

how does the picture look and is it the uncut/unrated version?

reply

It's an acceptable quality fullscreen presentation of the R-rated version. Most of the gore appears to be intact. Moreover, there are no extras to speak of, not even a trailer. But at least it's on DVD on a nifty doublebill with "The Curse."

In "The Curse" Thread someone told that in the first movie there is an alternate ending, have you see it?

I never saw the first Curse from beginning to end. I found the double DVD on Half.com. I liked the special effects in the second curse. I am thinking of buying it as a Halloween present for my friend.
