Remember the scene in the movie when she's watching TV, and there's this woman dancing in a REALLY WEIRD outfit with hands on it, and there's this strange music singing "keep your hands off her.."
WTF WAS THAT!!??!! I only saw this movie once, like 20 years ago, and that + the scene when she pulls the book out of the woman's bag are the only two scenes I remember.
A public access cable TV show - many of which are very odd. Probably more so in New York. The segment was of a performance artist. Whose acts can be odd, too.
They discuss this in the scene where they are making their work schedule for the bookstore. Hyde-Pierce's character complains that the have to adjust for Chichilia's (sp?) involvement in the show.
