After I watched the movie on DVD last night, I watched the bonus features and was astonished by the interview with the guy who did the make up for the movie. I didn't realize that Eddie was also the old white guy in the barber shop!!! What a transformation!

Saw this for the first time in about 20 years again last night and the old white guy was indeed played by Eddie Murphy however he was the only one that didn't show there name of who played him in the credits.
Maybe my mind playing tricks but i seem to remember that in the end credits on version i saw years ago had the same 'soup joke' that the old guy tells but right at the end of the joke Eddie Murphy gives his trademark laugh and that's how you know it was played by him but the one i just saw cut out right at the end of the joke so u couldn't hear his laugh.
