anyone else remember???

I dont remember the stabbing scene, but it is there. I do remember the crack swallowing scene. And there's also a scene where Pac Man goes to pick up Luisa and gets surrounded by a gang and they key his car. You can see this if you get the VHS version.

The dude swallowing the crack was there when i last saw the film, recently. It was Glen Plummer's character (Hi-top), not to be confused with a similar scene in Training Day where Denzel puts a pen down Snoop Dog's mouth.

The other scene doesn't ring a bell, but it would've been back in the late 80's when i had last viewed an alternate cut.

I remember both of those scenes. I remember them well because the first always pissed me off. I grew up in SoCal, around a lot of that stuff...and well, I never heard of anyone shanking some dude because he was from out of town. I mean, hey, innocent people have always been killed by gangbangers...but this scene just seemed so stupid and unnecessary to me. If someone from my neighborhood did something like that, nobody would think it cool. I can understand (though not condone) if you were robbing the guy or something...or maybe just kick his ass for mouthing off (again, not condonging that either), but shanking the guy...and in front of his wife? And why ask him where he's from if he's obviously not a cholo? So dumb.

I remember the stabbing scene more than the dying crack rock scene it was so funny when they hit up the white dude who was a white collar typethat would never be mistaken for a gangster.it would have been better it they just robbed and stabbed him would have been more realistic

I remember all that. Saw this in the theater day it cam out.
