Cocktail or Coyote Ugly?

Both were bad movies, yet watchable...guilty pleasures.

I thought Cocktail did give an accurate description of a bartender; a relatively destructive, rudderless existence with lots of ambition but no discipline or awareness of how to do anything but pour drinks. Seems like every bartender is a know-it-all with grandiose ideas that never seem to come to reality. Lots of drinking, drugs and most of all BS.

I also laugh at the idea that a bar owner would allow his bartenders to waste time spouting poetry or dancing on the bar instead of serving customers. You don't make money entertaining drunks...just keep pushing the drinks.
