Arrow Video and MGM

Arrow Video seem to be pumping out a lot of MGM movies, so I would hope that one day they get this released.

Before you start commenting on Victor Salva's past, please take that stuff to another thread. I am discussing MGM and Arrow releasing this movie on Blu-ray.

And maybe take a trip over to Roman Polanski's page if you want to discuss that sort of thing.

I'd like to see Clownhouse get a Blu-Ray release.
Clownhouse was a pretty colorful film, and an HD transfer would look nice. Nobody will touch the film though, and I can't blame the studios for not wanting to get involved in that mess. Not trying to bring up past things, but it's just something that will always prevent the film from ever seeing another release.

Your best bet for a blu-ray release of this film is from a German label or some other obscure European blu-ray company.

No one in the US AND UK is ever going to bat an eye towards putting this out on blu-ray.

A shame since putting the Salva/Forrest Winters nastiness aside, the movie is quite decent. Not the best scary clown movie, but has its place in horror history.

Agreed. The score, the fog, the cinematography, was all so creepy.
