Clownhouse DVDs: Bootleg or Authentic?

These days on eBay I see a German edition as well as an apparently authorized MOD (Manufactured on Demand i.e. DVD-R) edition from Brazil. Does anyone have any info on these? I'm wondering if they are official releases (I especially have my doubts about the DVD-R edition, I don't think they were even making MODs back then). Also wondering how is the image and audio quality. I heard the US original had decent PQ but the audio was slightly out of synch.

I just bought the German bootleg from Amazon.co.uk for an extremely cheap prize, 11,90 Euro = 13,50 dollars.

It's region code 0, English 2.0 dolby digital and English 2.0 dolby digital, widescreen 16:9.

Picture and sound quality are both damn good for a bootlehg. If you need any screenshots etc. PM me.

iOffer has BLs for as low as $7.50 incl. S&H. Really that's the best way to get it, or just download it off the internet. It's a cheap horror film so no sense waiting for an HB blu-ray that will never come out!

The "MOD" editions from Brazil are 100 percent fake. Listings for various rare and OOP titles (ones that also are owned by different distributors, no less) appear on eBay all the time. I assure you there aren't authorized MGM "MOD" DVDs of Clownhouse being made in Brazil. They're fake.

Illegal copies, OBVIOUSLY.
