Did Randy die?

I think Randy survived. He was just cut up by the glass from the window that the lunatic pulled him through. There wasn't a slash across his throat or any mark on his unconscious body later that showed signs of him being dead. By the way, would you mind answering some of my threads I've posted on the board. I think he was just unconscious. They didn't seem to want to kill the kids real bad. They also knocked Jeffrey out. But he came out of it and saved the day.
