Did anyone else think the actors in this movie were too old to credibly portray high school students? Jerry was supposed to be a ninth grader but the actor was 19. Emile Janza was 21, Archie 23 and Obie 28. The Goober also looked way too old to play a freshmen. At least the soundtrack was good.
shareBack then, doing stuff like having an actual 14 year old portray a 14 year old was tough due to child labor laws, sexual content, wether or not they swore, etc. We went from that to Kirsten Dunst portraying a childlike hungry for blood never reached puberty sexually confused vampire permenantly 1o years old. Go fig, I think it's called progress, see also The Breakfast Club, excepting Anthony Michael Hall, I believe all the actors were over 18 at the time the movie was made.
