$15,000?

This was really shot for only 15K? There were a few moments in the film that looked ... let's say less than polished but in no way did they ever detract from the experience for me. If this really was shot for such a paltry sum then I have even more respect for what the cast and crew achieved. I'll be buying the dvd in the next few days for sure.

The movie was shot for much more than $15,000.00. The soundtrack, however, was put together with a budget of $15,000.00. In fact, the director wanted to use several songs in the soundtrack that he couldn't put in the film, because the artists demanded more money than he could afford to pay them. David Bowie's "Heroes" was one of those songs.

it probably cost 15 K to get the Peter Gabriel song.

I was happy to hear Scott Cossu's "Shepherd's Song" (the moody piano piece that pops up now and then).

As long as we crash and we collide, We will be gorgeous, you and I.

Shephard's Song is such a strong piece that it's perfectly okay that he kept reusing that instead of using another song in place of it, which he might have done with a bigger budget.

In fact, I would go so far as to say that the song pulled the whole film together.
