Fraser playing the bully - Who is this really?

I saw this movie at the theater when it was first released. When I saw it again later I thought the bully in the movie was a young Brendan Fraser. It was on Flix tonight so I decided to look it up on IMDB and discovered this Brendan Fraser look alike is named Brent David Fraser born within a year but in a different place of Brendan Fraser.

Anybody know what's really going on here? This can't be a coincidence in looks and name but on the Brendan Fraser page there's no mention of The Chocolate War.

Brent Fraser is a completely different actor and totally unrelated to Brendan Fraser. I personally see no similarities between them.

Count me in...when I saw this movie on cable a few years ago I could have sworn it was a young Brendan Fraser and surprised to find out it wasn't

Just watched this movie last night for the FIRST time (have always heard things about it since it first came out but never went out of my way to see it... just stumbled on it in the middle of the night while dealing with a head cold), and I'm so glad that I'm not the FIRST to think that Emile was played by Brendan Fraser... and was genuinely surprised to find out that not only wasn't it Brendan, but another B-r-e-n Fraser, of NO relation to George of the Jungle, himself! I think that is totally weird and really makes me wonder if there's something more to the story... extremely coincidental if not.

I saw this film for the first time today and I immediately thought that it was Brendan.

The real Brent has posted on his message board here saying that he thinks they may be related. Pretty cool!
