After Protee threw Luke out of the house he goes inside where Aimee touches him finally on the leg indicating that what Luke said was right in she really wanting to be touching or maybe even consenting to a relationship with him. After he rejects her she then gets her clueless husband to put Protee in a different area where he no longer would be near her. these two pretended the whole movie like they were not attracted to each other when one can see when he tied her dress she could not even look at how handsome he stood in the mirror.
