Why did Dr. Death even have a voodoo doll of himself?

Seriously, that never made any sense to me.

Yeah I didnt understand that either and I never understood why he would reveal all his deepest secrets about his voodoo stuff with Chucky or anyone else.

for self gratification when nobody's around.

I inferred that that point is explainable because Chucky has a much superior intellect to the witch doctor and therefore Chucky was able to manipulate him by pretending to be his best pal.

Yes. That definitely confirmed that his bulb is not too bright.

reply

well he was a witch doctor right? and that means he specializes in everything occult/dark magic related right? was it ever made clear he made it? I know chucky says "You shouldn't tell people where you hide things" but maybe chucky snuck around and made it himself while doc wasn't looking

I think it was some kind of empowerment doll, that could be used for the reverse effect like a normal voodoo doll.

Why you'd tell a low life like Charles Leigh Ray about it is beyond me.

reply

yeah that could have been written better, no way he would have that doll,
or would he tell chucky about it.
Chucky could have just said look what I made, that would have been better.

I think he used the doll on himself in a positive way. Like he dropped a coin on its head and that made money come to him, or something like that.

But I agree that the film needed to explain this point, which it doesn't.

Why the witch dr.. Has a doll of himself id guess is for pleasure or for healing of sorts like treating an injury. I think its either chucky stole the dr's mojo unknowingly doll or he used his knowledge to forge another.
