Who finds this movie scary?
I actually honestly believe that Bride and Seed were better, at least they don't pretend to be horror movies anymore.
Curse is also better. It's got enough suspence, and comedy in it to not become dull like the original and it's first two sequels, which are the worst 3 movies in the franchise IMO.
Neither is a really good movie though.
I've never in my life heard anyone ever say that the first Child's play movie was worst than the bride of Chucky and Seed of Chucky. Ima just assume you were drunk when you wrote that rant because Child's Play 1 was the best Chucky movie and you said you didnt like the first Child's play movie because it didnt have enough comedy???? Thats what made this movie better than all the rest. If you want comedy go watch a Jim Carrey movie.
shareI hate talking dolls, so Chucky definitely creeps me out. Although he's way scarier as a doll then after Charles Lee Ray reveals himself. But the movie is definitely more comedy than horror, I had to laugh out loud at some of the (unintentionally?) funny scenes.

As a big fan of Nightmare on Elm Street 1 I enjoy the parallels with that film and the wrinkle that the mom and police do believe the child before it's too late.
Creepy dolls scare me, but I love this movie. As dumb as it can be, it's fun and I don't even like most horror.
