The Wikipedia article for Cellar Dweller stats that Colin Childress' death
was a murder/suicide. I was under the impression that he accidentally killed himself (unintentionally got trapped in the fire he set to kill his creation).

Which is true? Was it a murder/suicide or was his death an accident?

I know you're long gone, but for anyone else who might be wondering, police put it down to a murder/suicide, believing that Childress killed the girl and then himself (obviously, any evidence of the creature having been there was erased by the fire which also - accidentally - killed Childress).
