25th Anniversary

This movie came out in theaters on Friday, April 22, 1988, and will have its 25th anniversary on Monday. I do not recall its actual release then, as I was 20 and was in my last week of college at the college I went to for my first two years. I was about ready to leave that college, and was glad. I then saw a few movies in theaters in May, 1988 after I did leave it and returned home, but this was not one of them. But I did see it a few times on our VCR in 1989 and 1990, and really liked it, it became one of my favorite 100 movies of all time. And it is one of four on this list from 1988. I then did not see it for years until recently after I brought a used copy of it from a DVD store. And I plan on watching it Monday night in observance of its 25th anniversary.
